Hosea House is blessed to remain open as an “essential service” during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are serving to-go meals Monday-Friday evenings, 4:00-5:30. With blessings come challenges, and donations of food have dwindled. Like you, we have never experienced anything like this and we hope to be able to continue serving our clients. However, our expenses are growing and we would sincerely appreciate any means of financial support your could afford. Donations can be made electronically by clicking the link at the bottom of the page or by simply dropping a check in the mail. Thank you!
The mission of Henry Hosea House is to provide food and nourishment for the bodies and souls of the men, women and children of the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area. Our vision is to provide a safe environment in which to satisfy our clients’ needs for daily nutrition, support, healthy guidance and social interaction. This positive atmosphere enhances their capacity for self-help and self-sufficiency.
The cornerstone of the Hosea House Soup Kitchen is our volunteers! More than 3,500 individuals volunteer annually. Our volunteers include individuals, high school and college students, employees of area companies, members of civic and community groups, and congregants from area churches. Our volunteers help prepare and serve meals as well as pick up food from various stores. There are not enough ways to thank these amazing people!
