Ways to Help

Ways to Help

None of what we do would be possible without the support of hundreds of volunteers, dedicating thousands of hours. Feeding so many people each-and-every day is a daunting task, especially at times of the year when many of our diners come through our door damp and chilled. Those who arrive are never asked to sign in, register, present identification, or pay a single penny. They simply come in and enjoy a meal with friends.

Planned Giving

Help fight hunger for generations to come ... leave a legacy

Fueled by continuing high unemployment and poor economic conditions, we fed a record-breaking number of people last year. And the number of people who need food continues to increase.

After more than 25 years of fighting hunger, the battle is far from won. But while we work to meet increased daily needs, we're also planning for the future.

You can help. Leave a legacy and fight hunger for generations to come through a variety of options.  Please consider becoming part of an important group of Hosea House supporters who are showing their enduring support by including gifts to Hosea House in their estate planning.  Planned giving may include gifts of appreciated securities, life insurance, real estate, charitable trusts and bequests.

For more information about planned giving, please email or call Bruce Steltzer at hoseahousedirector@outlook.com or 859-261-5857.

Tribute gifts can be given in honor of individuals or groups at any time and are particularly popular for special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries and other holidays or events. Increasingly, brides and grooms are making a donation to honor guests and in lieu of wedding favors.
