Great things are happening at Hosea House! We’ve reopened for inside dining on September 7th. It is good to see and talk to our clients again. They missed us as much as we’ve missed them! Dinner volunteers are needed again. If interested, please contact Kim Rechtin at: hoseahouse1@outlook.com.
Our dining room welcomed the clients with our interior update being complete. We now have fresh paint, wallpaper, replaced ceiling, flooring, tables, and chairs. I’d like to thank Nick Crail Painting, Molly Jacks MJ Designs, Valley Interiors Systems and Earl Franks Sons & Daughters Flooring for the super job coordinating the project.
We also added four new members to our Board; Keith Gilles, Mari Hingelbrok, Bob Ross and Blake Perkins. These four have varying backgrounds and life experiences which will add to supporting our Mission.
As we head into the Fall and the cold weather a local firm, Executive Transportation, is sponsoring a community collection of hats, gloves, socks, hoodies, sleeping bags, and backpacks for our Hosea House clients. The date is December 4th, 2021 at the corner of Monmouth and 9th Streets in Newport, KY. Please consider donating.
